tappin Terms of Use

Effective date: February 23, 2026
Last updated: February 23, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of tappin (the "Service") provided by Tappin ("tappin", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Acceptance

You must have legal capacity to agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent you have authority to bind that organization.

The Service is not intended for children under 13. Additional minimum-age requirements may apply based on local law.

2. Account Registration and Security

You are responsible for:

  • providing accurate account information;
  • maintaining account credential confidentiality;
  • all activity under your account unless prohibited by law.

You must promptly notify us of unauthorized account use.

3. License to Use the Service

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, lawful purposes.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • violate laws or third-party rights;
  • upload unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or infringing content;
  • attempt to reverse engineer, interfere with, or compromise Service security;
  • scrape, crawl, or misuse the Service at scale without authorization;
  • impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation;
  • distribute malware, spam, or fraudulent content.

5. User Content and Conduct

You retain ownership of content you submit (for example, activity names, notes, reactions, support messages), but grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service.

You represent you have rights needed to submit your content and that your content does not violate law or third-party rights.

6. Social Features and Community Interactions

The Service includes social and invitation-based features. You are responsible for your interactions with other users. We may (but are not required to) remove content or restrict accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by the tappin Privacy Policy. Where there is a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy regarding data practices, the Privacy Policy controls for privacy-specific matters.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service may rely on third-party providers (for example authentication, infrastructure, analytics, push, email). Your use of third-party features may also be subject to those providers’ terms and policies.

9. Health and Wellness Disclaimer

tappin provides organizational and social accountability tools. It does not provide medical, mental health, or emergency services and is not a substitute for professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

10. Intellectual Property

All Service software, branding, interfaces, and related materials (excluding your content and third-party materials) are owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not use our trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written permission.

11. Service Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service from time to time. We may release updates, patches, or feature changes that alter functionality.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create legal/security risk, or where required by law.

Upon termination, provisions that by nature should survive will survive (including IP, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and dispute provisions).

13. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tappin and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to the Service.

Where permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

15. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tappin and its affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.

You and we agree to attempt informal resolution first by contacting support@tappinpro.com.

If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Sweden, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.

17. Consumer Rights and Regional Variations

If you are a consumer residing in a jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protections, those protections apply and prevail over conflicting terms.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we will provide notice as required by law. Continued use after effective date constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
